Chatham Labs is looking for Masters or PhD students to join our team as Research Interns. You will work closely with our clients and researchers, as well as our academic partners at the University of Toronto. You will solve interesting technical and scientific challenges in the areas of HCI, graphics, modeling, and machine learning. You will make contributions in research, publishing in top venues of computer science, as well as in making impact for our clients on their product directions.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Join a team inventing the future of human-computer interaction!
Conduct cutting-edge research with 3-10 year time horizon
Work with clients seeking to commercialize revolutionary hardware
Work at a variety of levels of the stack, hardware design, sensing, signal processing, systems architecture, developer experience, UI
Build prototype devices and experiences to demonstrate the solutions
Make an impact on future products of some of the world's largest tech companies, help grow startups, and publish academic research
Present the solutions to clients, and work with their teams to iterate and further innovate
Share your work with the research community via paper publications in journals and presentations at conferences
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Working towards a Ph.D. or Masters in a technical field such as Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc
